I think this is the same feeling you’d get if you were to stand on the edge of the universe on tiptoe, shading your eyes and peering out into the scattered bits of time that haven’t happened yet.  You have to be up on tiptoe, your toes curling right over the edge of anything and everything, because otherwise you’d feel too grounded.  You’d be too comfortable.  You’d start to settle back into the stagnant sort of sleep that comes from not knowing that things and moments and ideas are always just a bit off balance, and finally you’d give up trying to stay on your feet Journal Entries, 2008 .III.

No—no, this is joy: running through sprinklers at midnight in bare feet and a dress for dancing  Through drops of water and light and the little bits of silence scattered in between the city-night noises  
(don’t lie down in the middle of the street, you crazy girl—but this is where I feel the silence best, from concrete through the tips of my fingers and the ends of my hair)  I can’t help who I am—I taste in color and hear in time. (Please stop the car, there are more sprinklers on the left and I want to feel the grass between my toes.) I adore the feeling of water and night. &nbs Journal Entries, 2008 .II.

We always slept with our balcony door open.  It’s not that we were especially hot, although the cool breeze was nice. We weren’t oblivious to the potential dangers of leaving one’s balcony door open—although for any creepy men to get up to our 4th floor balcony in the first place would have been quite a trick.  It guess it was just because we liked the noise that drifted in off the streets—ambulances, horns honking, random people shouting at 4am, and those noises we could never quite figure out (they were either gunshots or fireworks).  It doesn’t sound like a very r Journal Entries, 2008

deux.I am in love with the way your face shines after midnight  With the way the smoke curls out from your lips  around your head  And hides the stars.  You’d make a beautiful photograph, I say.  You’d make a beautiful story  if the stars around your head were words  and stream-of-consciousness the smoke  
that weaves your tongue into  
a thousand tales of an almost-heartfelt  Goodbye.

Heart Got Broken...A girl falls in love in Trafalgar Square.    It is night time, and the floodlights throw everything  into strange relief and colours.  When she goes home and lies in bed that night,  she presses fingers to her lips  
to keep his kiss from fading.   
And when love dies (as it always must)  she feels she carries a lump of ice around inside her.  
And suddenly she carries the key to all those stories,  and poems, and songs,  and the key is a broken heart.

LOOK, FOOL--"LOOK, FOOL— I LOVE YOU."     —the little girl screams (and shouts and sobs), but she's not a little girl anymore, if she's old enough to love you like this.  Love you with her clear, fierce gaze and fists balled at her sides while you're backed against a wall six lonely feet away.  Love you with angry tears rolling down her cheeks like molten everything she's ever wanted which is you, you, oh god, you.     Pan to the sidelines, where her two friends watch and bicker and mock like, "this is love?"

1. I think I finally understand what it means to share in the joy of those you love. If I were any happier for you, any more honored by what you’ve done for me (yes, honored—I could never resent you) I think I should absolutely burst. Please never forget that I’ll do anything for you, and that you’ll always-always-forever be my sister and my friend.

2. I’ve always felt I needed to apologize to you, but it’s hard when I don’t think you’ve ever known that I did anything to hurt you. I do love you, and I would never willfully do anything against you, but sometimes my pride gets in the way and I forget what I’m doing.

3. I’m sorry for not being as patient or understanding as I know I should be. I love you, and I hope you’ll get past this soon. Not for my sake, but for yours.

4. I had this dream that you found a girlfriend, and she was dreadful and heartless and catty and please don’t ever do that to yourself, because you deserve so much better. You’ll know by the look in her eyes. This girl had the most wicked, unfeeling eyes I’ve ever seen, and I only had to look at you for about five seconds to know that she had changed you into something awful, something cold. Please don’t let anyone do that.

5. Please, please, please just let it go.

6. Sometimes I think I’d like it more than anything if you’d write me a letter. I’m not sure why, but maybe the effort of ink on paper would make me feel like I’m worth something. Or maybe I just like letters, and find it tragic that no one bothers to write them anymore.

7. I really will miss you when you’re gone. I already miss your Christmas cookies and the corn you used to make at Thanksgiving, and the way you bustled about in the kitchen, refusing to take a bite until everyone else had eaten. I miss the way you laughed and walked around the house in your slippers, and I miss you sitting in front of the fire on cold winter nights.

i dont know where to start or what to do at all! It feels as if its impossible to learn. I downloaded the rosetta stone japanese off a torrent site and its still hard!
